A Prairie Spring.

In the Spring of 2023, we spoke with a client regarding the passage of a new rule in their subdivision: Due to all lots being fed by an irrigation ditch near-by, it was determined that each home needed to have a pond, to be fed by the ditch, to first draw water from for their sprinkling and irrigating needs, to prevent the possibility of over-drawing from the ditch during the warmer months.

Enter White Peak Contracting.

By the client's request, White Peak designed and implemented a plan to excavate, line, plumb, and finish a 20,000 gallon pond from which the client could fill from the existing irrigation plumbing, and also be able to draw from to operate their underground sprinkling system.

In 2 phases, White Peak created a lined pond system that featured 3 natural sandstone water features, a buried pump enclosure, and over 100 feet of trenched electrical and water lines. As it was designed, the pond system seamlessly tied into the existing irrigation plumbing to give the client the option to run their water from either the pond or the irrigation feed, as well as feed the pond by way of the irrigation ditch through the integrated, 13 foot long, natural sandstone water feature that also boasted inlet water filtration.

The result, both peaceful bliss and a healthy lawn, all at the turn of a valve.
